Beyond the local level, there is much work to be done to grow our numbers, organize our members, produce materials, and maintain healthy, accessible communication. As such, we have numerous working groups that are open to all members to join.
Working Groups typically meet bi-weekly over Zoom for 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the group and the amount of work being tackled that meeting. For more information, please contact each working group’s coordinator(s) or post in the relevant Slack channel.

Initially tasked with developing first draft of Symbiosis bylaws; now a discussion hub for thinking through amendments to the bylaws.

Coordinating Committee
The Coordinating Committee (“CC”) is not technically a working group; it’s the organization-wide administrative body, made up of 12 elected members. The CC’s job is primarily to set up Symbiosis-wide events (such as Town Halls and monthly referenda), coordinate between working groups and catch any tasks that fall through the cracks. All CC meetings are open to the full membership to join as observers.
